The Nature Reserve: Welcome to the Nature Reserve at Twycross Zoo. The trail will take you on a journey through an important native wetlands habitat. An inland water ecosystem, the wetlands are one of the most valuable natural resources on the planet. Immobilising carbon and nutrients they are extremely important for water purification and act as a natural storage facility for rain water – producing large amounts of plant biomass as a result.
Close Encounters: An immersive indoor habitat where you'll get the chance to come eye-to-eye with OVER 10 amazing species from around the globe. Step inside and discover some of the world's most endangered reptile and spider species, whilst contributing to their survival.
The Gruffalo Discovery Land: Journey into the deep, dark wood meeting interactive characters from the much loved The Gruffalo story. Help mouse with exclusive Gruffalo Ranger Training cards and meet real-life animals along the way!
WET 'N' WILD: Wet 'n' Wild is a great play area for young children to cool off and have fun during the Summer! Located near Penguins, Wet and Wild offers the chance for children to don their flippers and splash around.
Lanterns of the Wild: This Winter, Lanterns of the Wild transforms Twycross Zoo after dark. Step into glowing animal worlds, explore vibrant habitats, and spark your family’s sense of wonder on a night-time trail like no other.
Soft Play Jungle: The multi-tiered soft play jungle provides a fun, safe and stimulating play environment for children of all ages! With designated areas for babies (0-2 years), toddlers (2-5 years) and juniors (5-12 years), your monkeys can have a wild adventure wherever they are in our newly refurbished soft play centre.

Picnic areas: Picnics are welcome! If you wish to bring your own food, they have several open grassy areas and benches for picnics. You can also use these spaces to eat any food bought at Twycross Zoo.
