Stepney Bank Stables offers riding lessons, horse handling sessions, and a variety of ways to interact with horses, supporting young people in creating connection, confidence, and wellbeing. The mission focuses on bringing joy and enhancing life chances through caring for and riding horses, providing young people with somewhere to go, something to do, and someone to trust 363 days a year. Horse handling activities, riding lessons, and Pony Club sessions are available, with approval from the British Horse Society and Pony Club, guided by highly qualified and experienced coaches. The riding weight limit is 12 stone (76kg) to ensure horse welfare, and experiences such as walking a pony or participating in horse agility sessions are open to all ages. The historic Pony Barn, located in the Top Yard which has been a working stable for over 200 years, now houses friendly ponies and is ideal for parties and group activities.
Lesson prices include private 30-minute sessions for children under 18 (£40) and adults over 18 (£45), and semi-private 30-minute sessions for two riders at £32 for children and £35 for adults.
