  • Flying Scotsman VR Experience: Celebrate 100 years of the world's most famous steam locomotive with a stunning Virtual Reality immersive experience. Flying Scotsman VR will take you on a journey back in time and around the world as you join the greatest moments in the locomotive’s past 100 years.
  • The Murder Carriage: An unusual model in the Railway Museum’s open store holds the key to a sensational, and shocking, story that gripped Britain in 1901. The small wooden model featured at the trial of a murder that took place in the third-class compartment of a London and South Western Railway train can tell us a lot about the history of rail travel, crime, and anxiety at the end of the Victorian age.
  • People, Pride and Progress: The National Railway Museum is embarking on a new project to record the stories and memories of the LGBTQIA+ community in a new oral history archive. Do you know somebody who would be interested?
