Huxleys Birds of Prey Centre, located at Hilliers Garden Centre in Horsham, offers an unforgettable day out surrounded by nature. Suitable for all ages, it is home to over 80 stunning birds including owls, falcons, eagles, and hawks. This hidden gem blends education and adventure in a serene garden setting.

Enjoy the Barn Owl Experience with Casper, interact with meerkats in the Meerkat Experience (ages 7+), or take part in a Hawk Walk through the Sussex countryside. Animal lovers can also enjoy Owl & Raptor Afternoons or spend the day with Harris Hawks on a Raptor Day. The centre provides picnic areas and easy access from the garden centre.

Admission is £10 for adults, £5 for children (2–15), £6 for seniors and students, and £25 for families (2 adults + 2 children).

Barn Owl Experience: Fly and Handle Our Resident Barn Owl. Join us for a remarkable opportunity to engage with our resident barn owl, Casper. This 10-30 minute experience (depending on qty of participants) allows you to fly and handle him, getting up close and personal.
Meerkat Experience: Meerkat Experience: Get Up Close with Our Lovable Meerkats! (Ages 7+) Come and experience the charm of our lovable meerkats as you interact with them and feed them their favourite tasty treats.
Owl & Raptor Afternoon: This afternoon is tailored for the bird of prey lover, and owl lover and will give you the rare opportunity to spend the daylight hours with these elusive birds of prey.
Hawk Walk: This is designed for people who would like to fly a hawk in more natural surroundings. Our Harris Hawks are happy to fly to your hand whilst walking through some beautiful Sussex countryside.
Raptor Day: Wonderful experience of spending time with a Harris Hawk whilst walking through the beautiful Sussex countryside (considered by most as the highlight of the day).

You will need to walk past the Café and Pavers Footwear and follow the path up to our Centre. When using a navigation device to reach us, please set your destination to 'Hillers Garden Centre.' This will ensure you arrive at the correct entrance with convenient parking. If you don't, you may be directed to the rear of our centre, where there is no parking or access.
