  • Flying Displays: During the summer, visitors can enjoy three spectacular daily flying displays—Wings of Africa, Masters of the Sky, and Woodland Wonders—each featuring different birds of prey, immersive settings, and live commentary. These shows offer close-up encounters as raptors such as eagles, vultures, owls, and kites soar overhead in specially designed arenas.
  • Vulture Voyage: Fly on over for our BRAND NEW Vulture Voyage trail! Fun for all the family, join us on this bird-spotting, fact-finding adventure around the Trust to follow in the wingbeats of Egyptian Vultures on their epic migration.
  • Tree Trail: At the Hawk Conservancy Trust, we are all about conserving birds of prey and their habitats: trees are vital habitats to many birds of prey and the food they eat. Take part in our brand new Tree Trail activity as part of our jam-packed timetable, and be inspired about trees and our work at the Trust!
  • Meet the Burrowers: Come and meet our cute and curious Burrowing Owls. You can get up close and find out all about these small, long-legged owls from the prairies and grasslands of North and South America.
  • Brilliant Bird Brains: Join a member of the Bird Team as they introduce you to one of our brilliant birds and show off some of their skills! This talk focuses on a new bird every day.
  • Nifty Nest Builders: Join a member of our Bird Team to find out all about the fascinating nature of nests, and have a go at building one yourself!
  • Reg's Wildflower Meadow: Stroll around our meadow, named in memory of the Trust’s founder, and take a moment to sit and enjoy some contemplative relaxation amidst this stunning, yet unusual, habitat.
  • Tractor Rides: Children can hop on the tractor trailer for a fun and bumpy ride around Reg’s Meadow. (During school holidays and at weekends, weather permitting.)
  • Children's Playground: Let the little ones let off steam in our fantastic bird of prey themed playground. A pleasant spot for Mums and Dads to sit and watch them play, reassured they are always in sight.

Birthday Party Details

The Hawk Conservancy Trust is a great place if you’re organising a children’s birthday party to remember. Whilst we don’t offer a hosted party, they can delight in a day filled with owls, eagles, vultures and falcons. Not only can you make the most of our daily timetable of activities, but children can blow off steam in the playground and as part of our activity trail.

You can also reserve a table and pre-order your food from Feathers Restaurant for lunch or cakes and refreshments in the afternoon. We can even supply party bags and invitations so you can enjoy the party just as much as the children will! Please email us on info@hawkconservancy.org to enquire about party bags.

  • By public transport: The nearest train stations are Grateley Village (4.5 miles) or Andover Town (4.2 miles). The nearest major bus station is in Andover (4.7 miles).
  • By Car: We are situated four miles west of Andover, Hampshire, just off the A303 and 20 minutes from Stonehenge. From the A303, follow the brown tourist signs. We offer ample free parking and have designated disabled parking close to the entrance of the park.
