Forfar Ice Rink, part of Forfar Indoor Sports, is a multi-sports facility in Scotland offering a wide range of activities all year round. Curling: Curling is one the main sports we play at Forfar Indoor Sports. With more than 1,000 curling members and 40 individual Curling Clubs from Fife, Dundee, Angus & Grampian utilising our ice we are one of the more sociable curling venues in Scotland. With 2 curling halls, one with 4 curling rinks and the other with 2 curling rinks, we not only cater for our local curling clubs we also host Regional, National & International curling competitions. Curling is a team sport played by two teams of four players on a rectangular sheet of ice.
Ice Skating: Ice skating is a great experience whatever your age or ability and here at Ice World we pride ourselves on the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere you can experience. With strong family traditions we welcome skaters of all ages with a variety of programmes including skating lessons, disco sessions and family skating sessions. With our unique skating tunnel, laser & disco lights and background music you can’t help but join in the fun and have a great time.
Roller Skating: Situated in the new multi-purpose sports, functions, and events hall called “The Zone,” we have created a terrific Roller disco-style atmosphere with modern lighting, audio, and visuals. Roller Skating is for everyone aged 5 years and over. With a general public skating session every Sunday afternoon from 2 pm to 4pm, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Bowling: At Bowls-Forfar we operate a three rink bowling hall and new members are always welcome. Coaching can be organised and equipment provided to get you off and running. Bowls-Forfar offer recreational bowls where the social side of the game is as important as the result. We run club leagues and recreational bowls sessions for all to enjoy. a place for friends to meet up, enjoy your bowls in modern welcoming facility.
