Worthing Museum and Art Gallery is in the centre of Worthing near the grade II listed St Paul's. The building, which celebrated its centenary in 2008, was originally designed to house the town's library as well as the museum, the library section being funded by Andrew Carnegie.

Worthing Theatres and Museum is a unique arts and heritage charity consisting of four theatres, a cinema, a museum and gallery, all within the heart of Worthing. Our venues bring our community the best theatre, music, dance, exhibitions, film, and educational opportunities.

  • Collections: WTM Museum and Gallery holds one of the most significant costume collections in the UK, as well as notable collections in fine and decorative arts, social history, toys, dolls and archaeology. There are around 30,000 pieces in the costume collection alone, Princess Amelia’s slippers and Queen Victoria’s underwear being just two examples.
  • Galleries: Worthing Museum boasts a fantastic selection of galleries packed full of unique archaeological finds, amazing costumes, and wonderful art from our permanent collections and visiting artists. Our four main galleries play host to a varied programme of exhibitions showcasing the work of emerging and established artists. We feature everything from bold expressionist art to atmospheric photography, hilarious illustrations, and striking 3d sculpture. All our exhibitions are free to visit, and we regularly change and update our displays. So pop in, take a look and see what you discover!
