Features

  • Wedgwood Factory Tour: Join us on a tour of the Wedgwood Factory for a behind-the-scenes experience where we reveal how Wedgwood is designed, created and crafted. This is the place to discover the craftsmanship of our famous jasperware, a unique invention by Josiah Wedgwood I. Marvel at the extraordinary skills of our talented workers who cast, glaze, decorate and gild in our original 1940s working factory.
  • Clay Studio Experiences: Join us in our Clay Studio for a one-of-a-kind pot-throwing experience! Our welcoming Studio Hosts will give you a brief demonstration before setting you up on the wheel and guiding you through the steps to create your very own Jasperware pot. Our introduction to throwing session offers the opportunity for a more in-depth pot-throwing experience. During the first half of your studio time, you will focus on the key skills required to throw an evenly formed cylinder.
  • Pottery Painting: During weekends, school holidays, and Fridays, we open our Decorating Studio for you to get creative with pottery painting! Choose from various shapes and sizes to paint, including hanging decorations, pots, vases, lanterns, animals and even unicorns (subject to availability). On the day, you can choose from water-based paints to take your item home the same day or our more durable option of glaze and fire, which will incur a wait time.
  • Potter Tots: Welcome to Clay Club, our child-friendly experiences at World of Wedgwood, designed to get your little potters excited about clay! Potter Tots is a playgroup at World of Wedgwood that uses clay to promote and encourage creativity and critical thinking in the early years (1-5 years). Our friendly Creative Studios team will assist your children in creating and experimenting with clay without boundaries. There's no such thing as a mess!
