Our museum displays objects ranging from ploughs, to diaries, to eel hives... alongside a few tractors and a combine harvester. Every object tells a story and you might be surprised at what you discover!

Facilities

  • Parking: you can park opposite the entrance to our museum in a grass car park.
  • Food & Drinks: Our Docky Box Café is located inside the museum grounds, so a museum ticket is required to visit the café. The good news? Our tickets are annual passes – buy once, and you can return as many times as you like for free for the next 12 months. 
  • Dogs: well-behaved dogs are very welcome to visit Denny Abbey and the Farmland Museum. We have plenty of space to roam.

  • By road: From Cambridge, take the A10 towards Ely, following the brown museum signs. If using the A14, exit at Junction 33 (Milton Interchange), to take the A10. Upon arrival at the site, please do not turn right across the A10 – drive to the roundabout and turn right, allowing you to easily turn left into the museum.
  • By bus: The number 9 bus between Cambridge and Littleport stops closest to our museum. The “Research Park Entrance” bus stop is located on the A10, a 15-minute walk from the Museum entrance but please be aware this walk takes you along the side of the A10 where there are no footpaths.
  • Parking: you can park opposite the entrance to our museum in a grass car park.
