  • Gums to Bum: Discover what happens from the moment food enters the mouth, all the way until it reaches the toilet. See a series of gruesome demos, which need several volunteers to help along the way.
  • Sonic Science: How do we hear sound? How does it reach our ears? Why do we have two ears? We don’t really ask questions about something that we take for granted, but that just makes it more fascinating when we answer them for you! Find out more about sound, how it travels, how we hear it and why in space, nobody can hear you scream!
  • Bubbles: Step into the exciting world of Bubble Science! From the chemistry behind bubble solutions to the fascinating physics of bubble formation, we will take you on a bubble-filled adventure!
  • Genome Explorers: Help our Genome Explorer find and sequence the DNA of five plants. Could one of these plants provide a new medicine? Align the genome and compare the DNA sequences to explain the visible differences and identify some potentially important invisible ones.
  • Marvellous Man Made Materials: Join us as we explore some marvellous man made materials and investigate the properties that makes them so useful to us. Be prepared for inflating, burning, melting and more in this fun investigation of human ingenuity.
  • The Dinosaur Show: So you think you know dinosaurs? Everyone knows what dinosaurs are, right? Well, it turns out that some of the creatures we think of as dinosaurs aren’t! And maybe some that we think are dinosaurs, aren’t! Confused? It will all become clear in our fun, interactive show!
  • Moonshot: The Artemis program is a NASA-led mission to send people to the moon, create a base there and eventually send astronauts to Mars! Find out more about this ground-breaking mission as we explore how rockets are launched, investigate the anatomy of a space rocket, and look into some of the difficulties the astronauts might face in their quest to establish a base on the Moon.
