Sandilands

Description

Sandilands the transformation of Sandilands is well underway — and the results are already inspiring. The National Trust, in partnership with Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park, has completed the first phase of its ambitious project to reimagine the former golf course as a nature-rich haven.

What was once manicured fairways is now a vibrant mosaic of wetlands and coastal habitats, carefully designed to support both migrating and breeding birds. The wetlands are now open to the public, and while we await further rainfall to fully fill the pools, the landscape is already coming to life. Black-tailed godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings have begun to make their home here, and the newly planted vegetation is flourishing with each passing shower.

If you are looking for Best place for day out with kids and families then this is the perfect destination offering fun, adventure, and unforgettable memories for everyone.
