  • Instructor-Led Climbing Session: 1-Hour Instructor-Led Session. Instructor-led sessions provide reassurance with an instructor overseeing and guiding you while bouldering. These sessions are ideal for groups of beginners or families new to the sport. Groups, regardless of size, will be assigned one instructor. You can share the cost within the group.
  • Full Induction: A 2-hour course designed for those wishing to use both roped areas and bouldering walls. You'll learn the skills required to climb and belay safely, as well as bouldering techniques and safety etiquette. Maximum group ratio: 4:1. Belaying with devices, tying the figure 8 knot, using ground anchors, fitting a harness, climbing techniques, grading systems for bouldering & roped areas, and correct bouldering etiquette & safety practices.
  • Boulder Induction: A 30-minute session focused on bouldering techniques, safety, and etiquette for the bouldering area. You'll be taught by an instructor throughout the session. Bouldering etiquette, safe practices on the bouldering wall, basic climbing techniques, and the grading system for boulder wall routes.
  • Junior Club Training: Junior Club Training combines exercise, learning, and fun in one, experienced staff will introduce your child to climbing, belaying, and bouldering while ensuring safety and enjoyment. The sessions help children build balance, coordination, strength, and confidence through climbing. Starting early is the best way to develop these skill. On your child’s first session, you’ll need to complete a form, so arrive about 5 minutes early to ensure your child gets the full 60 minutes.
  • Junior Club Sessions
    • Age 14-17 Club Training: These sessions are designed for 14-17-year-olds to help them work towards junior membership, allowing them to climb confidently on their own. The sessions are mainly focused on bouldering but include guidance from an instructor to help with technique and confidence.
    • Age 6-14 Club Training: This club introduces children (6-14 years old) to the basics of climbing while helping them progress to more challenging routes. The aim is to provide a fun and safe environment, teaching new climbing techniques each week.
  • NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme): NICAS is a nationally recognized award scheme for indoor climbing. It helps assess your child’s climbing abilities and provides a guide to their skills. The scheme is available to all junior club members aged 7+.
