  • Fairfax Barn: The Fairfax Barn is an immaculately restored Kentish timber-framed barn that dates from 1680. Maximum capacity of 180 guests.
  • Battel Hall: Exclusive use of this large country manor house – Battel House is perfect for reunions, large family holidays, anniversaries or any excuse to host a special celebration for you and your friends. Maximum capacity of 100 guests.
  • The Gatehouse: Nestled in the historic grounds of Leeds Castle, The Gatehouse offers an exceptional venue for private parties and events.   • By Car: 7 miles east of Maidstone, Junction 8 of the M20 motorway just 1 hour from London, 30 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and Channel Ports. Clearly sign posted from all routes – following the brown and white tourist signs.
  • By Bus: The 510 Bus Route operated by Stagecoach bus is now servicing the Leeds Castle bus stop within the grounds. If you’re visiting by the 510 bus, please note that it comes into the Castle grounds on Saturday’s. On other days, the service still runs to Leeds Castle, with stops conveniently located just outside our gates on the A20.
  • By Trains: Southeastern(Opens in a new window) runs frequent services to Bearsted and Hollingbourne stations. There are direct trains to both stations from: Ashford International (25-30 mins) and London Victoria (70-75 mins). It’s then a 5-minute taxi ride or a 30-40 minute walk to Leeds Castle.
  • By Cycle: National Cycle Route 17 follows the Pilgrims’ Way to the north of Leeds Castle so you can use this from the Maidstone or Ashford direction through the village of Hollingbourne. To the south National Cycle Route 177 is also a great way to travel to Leeds Castle.
