Jacobite Loch Ness Cruises has been welcoming visitors to explore the legendary waters of Loch Ness for over 40 years. Departing from locations including Dochgarroch Lock, Clansman Harbour and Inverness, it offers a variety of award-winning cruises and tours. With stunning Highland scenery and tales of Nessie, it’s one of the most popular ways to experience Loch Ness.

There are several cruise options to choose from, including the 2-hour Contemplation cruise along the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness, the 50-minute Enchantment and Inspiration cruises, and the Freedom cruise which includes a visit to Urquhart Castle. Longer experiences such as the Sensation and Temptation coach-and-boat tours combine scenic travel, castle entry and guided commentary. Onboard facilities include a licensed bar serving Scottish produce, free WiFi, toilets, sonar equipment to help spot Nessie, and live or audio commentary. Luxury canal-side cottages are also available for overnight stays.

Prices vary depending on the cruise. The Contemplation 2-hour cruise costs £30.74 for adults, £26.50 for seniors and £23.32 for children, with family tickets at £95.40. The 50-minute Enchantment and Inspiration cruises cost £22.26 for adults, £20.14 for seniors and £18.02 for children, with family tickets at £67.84. The Freedom Cruise with castle entry costs £34.98 for adults, £29.68 for seniors and £24.38 for children. The Sensation 4-hour tour costs £76.32 for adults, while the Temptation 3.5-hour tour costs £64.13 for adults. Private charter hire starts from £1,800 per hour with a minimum of two hours.

Be sure to keep your camera ready! You'll find us at Dochgarroch Lock where we have free parking , as well as the use of bike racks. Dochgarroch Lock is 4 miles out of Inverness down the A82.   • Accommodation: Nestled on the banks of the Caledonian Canal, our collection of luxury cottages, all 4-star rated by VisitScotland, are designed by us to be enjoyed by you. We have three cottages: Parkside which has three bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 guests, The Cottage which has two bedrooms and can accommodate 4 guests, and The Lock Keepers Cottage which has 3 double bedrooms all with en suites and can accommodate up to 6 guests.
  • WIFI: Yes, there's FREE WiFi on board. But we really don't recommend surfing on Loch Ness!
  • Toilets: Yes, you'll never get caught short while sailing the length of the loch!

PARKING AND BIKE RACKS

Clansman Harbour (Freedom & Inspiration Cruise options).

  • Parking is available free of charge at the Clansman Hotel. It is limited, however, they do have an overflow car park. This is slightly further away, on rough terrain and will take approx 15 mins to walk to the harbour from.
  • There are no bike racks available for use at The Clansman Harbour.
  • Should you require public transport, from Inverness bus station you are looking for the 919 bus.

Dochgarroch Lock (Contemplation & Reflection Cruise options).

  • Parking is available free of charge at Dochgarroch Locks, in our carpark, shared with our sister restaurant An Talla.
  • Bike racks are available to use free of charge.
  • Should you wish to walk, you can down the canal path from Inverness - approx 4 miles.
