Heaton Park has two specifically-designed play areas for children: one is close to the Hall and Farm Centre in the North of the park, and the other one, Lakeside Adventure, is by the boating lake.Both of these have been approved by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), ensuring they conform to the highest of health and safety standards

Rowing boats and Pedalos
Our boats and pedalos are available to hire from the start of April until the end of October.

Walks and runs
