Chesham Moor in Buckinghamshire is home to the town’s historic outdoor heated pool, gym, café, and tennis courts. Managed by Chesham Town Council since 1987, it combines heritage with modern facilities, offering a welcoming space for fitness, swimming, and relaxation. Recently refurbished in 2025, it provides updated changing areas, a bigger gym, and upgraded poolside amenities.

Families and individuals can swim in the heated 25m open-air lido, open year-round at around 28ºC, with options for lane swimming, family swims, and water aerobics. The gym has doubled in size with new equipment and natural light, while children and adults can join swimming lessons from age three. Tennis and multi-court bookings for netball, basketball, or five-a-side are also available.

Prices are flexible, with memberships starting at £27.50 per month for juniors/seniors and £44 per month for adults, or pay-as-you-go sessions at £8 for adults and £5 for juniors/seniors. Tennis hire is £6 per court per 55 minutes.

Gym: Our new gym at the Chesham Moor is double in size, and with over 60% more equipment. Situated between our front landscaped gardens with river, there’s natural light and views to the outdoors. Get the best out of your time at the gym – with motivation, targets and variety just for you. JJP Training and Hannah Samuels hold sessions here at Chesham Moor.
Lido Pool: Outdoor swimming in our heated historic lido. Our healthy heated 25-metre open air pool is open all year round. We look forward to welcoming you! Our fun water aerobics sessions for all abilities. Lane swimming with slow, medium and fast lanes, for those who can swim. For family or casual swims please book a general swim. Abi’s Aqua classes are fun water aerobics suitable for all abilities in our heated outdoor pool. Moor Junior Swim provide 1:1/2:1 swimming lessons in Chesham’s open air pool for children, age three and up, and adults.

Approximately 10-15 minutes’ walk from Chesham town centre and underground station. We have a bike rack available at the foot of the ramp up to the centre. Free car park (height barrier) on the right as you approach our sports centre from Chesham town centre direction.
