Catch22 Pupil Parent Partnership is an Ofsted registered independent school based in West London that provides full-time, alternative, secondary education for young people, aged between 13 and 17. Often young people present with additional to complex needs.

Facilities

Education is delivered through individualised packages that meet very specific needs. Learners may have complex needs including social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). They also support learners who have just arrived in the country and those who are are hard to place due to multiple factors.
They offer a young person-centred, holistic approach to education, moving away from mainstream methods with which learners have had difficulties in the past. Through the provision of an alternative educational experience, one of the priorities is the behaviour of learners, the aim is to support pupils through use of a range of strategies enabling them to access the curriculum both socially and academically.

Things to note

Learners can follow a GCSE pathway and are also given the opportunity to take Functional Skills, they are currently looking at ways in which they can broaden curriculum as it is important that students have access to a range of subjects to become well-rounded learners.
A key focus is on building trusting relationships that enable us to quickly identify the barriers to learning, support learners to understand what they are and reach their full potential. The staff team aim to work closely with families to reinforce expectations as they firmly believe that working in partnership with parents and pupils is the most effective way to ensure sustainable change.
They have 45 places for learners in years 9, 10, 11 and 12 across two sites: Freston Road (Ladbroke Grove) and Phoenix Centre (Southall).
