  • Antique Teapots: Our display of tea drinking history celebrates the famous tea merchants who once owned our building.
  • Watermen and Lightermen Uniform: Thames Watermen once epitomised the artisan makeup of Twickenham riverside.
  • Professor Cockles: Professor Cockles was an underwater stunt diver who entertained crowds for over 40 years.
  • This Woolly Rhino Tusk: It is just one example of many other prehistoric creature and archaeological remains. Discover our collection of prehistoric bones from the area
  • Hampton Court Palace: Detailed model of the palace on display in the museum.
  • Twickenham Green: This 18th century watercolour of Twickenham is one of a substantial gallery of historical images.
  • Mesolithic Flint Axe: From the Middle Stone Age period this axe was discovered in 1892. Find our more about it's history and more by visiting the museum.
  • Jack Waring’s lucky clock: This battered carriage clock holds a very special tale of World War Two.
