Riverside garden: Beautiful ten acre riverside garden created in the late 18th century. Includes ancient trees, a rockery, Roman ruins and a picturesque picnic area next to the river.
Walled garden: Discover the historic walled garden, with colourful flower borders, seasonal produce and a 1920s Foster & Pearson glasshouse, where we're undertaking vital conservation work during summer 2022.
Parkland: Explore the rich history of the parkland as you stroll through it, encountering Roman remains such as a bathhouse and stone buildings. Discover a terraced earth from the Iron Age, traces of a Roman road, and the remnants of an engineered mill pond.
