The Tall Ship Glenlee is owned by The Tall Ship Glenlee Trust, a registered charity limited by guarantee. Glenlee is managed and maintained by a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Trust, the Clyde Maritime Centre.

Built on the River Clyde in 1896, Glenlee is one of the few remaining sailing ships from an era when hundreds were constructed and launched from these very waters. Lovingly restored, Glenlee’s crew are now ready to welcome you aboard for a hands-on voyage through maritime history.

  • By Train: The Tall Ship Glenlee is just half a mile from Govan Underground Station, or just under a mile from Partick Train, bus and Underground.
  • By Bus: You can reach the Tall Ship Glenlee by hopping off the City Sightseeing Glasgow open-top tour at Stop 5 – Riverside Museum. It’s a short walk from there to the ship. Alternatively, check out First Bus services to Govan Station, which is just a short walk and footbridge away.
  • By Car: We share a large car park with the Riverside Museum which is pay to use. There are also EV Rapid charging stations available. West Bound From the M8  At junction 19, take the A814 exit to Clydebank/S.E.C.C, turning right onto Stobcross Street (A814). Use the left lane to take the exit towards B808/Partick/Glasgow Harbour.
  • By Bike: There is a Glasgow City Public Bicycle Hire Station, operated by Nextbike by TIER located at the Riverside Museum where you can rent, park, or return OVO bikes.
  • By Plane: The closest airport is Glasgow International Airport.
