The Little Arts Workshop is a creative studio where visitors of all ages can enjoy pottery painting, clay modelling, and baby prints or imprints. It’s a relaxed and friendly place for both beginners and experienced artists to explore their creativity. Alongside regular sessions, the workshop also offers special art workshops and late-night events.

Families can enjoy pottery painting with a wide range of items to choose from, guided by staff to help create unique designs. Specialist prints and imprints are available for all ages, even for pets. On Fridays, adults can unwind at Late Night Fridays with a BYOB creative evening, or hire pottery painting hampers to take the fun home.

Prices include a £5 studio fee, pottery painting and clay modelling from £5.00, prints and imprints at £10.00, pottery throwing at £25.00, Late Night Fridays at £8.00, and pottery painting hampers at £15.00.

The Little Arts Workshop also hosts birthday parties with exclusive studio use, creative workshops, and optional party food, making it a fantastic choice for celebrations. With its welcoming atmosphere, fun activities, and variety of art experiences, it’s a perfect place to relax, create, and make lasting memories.

Pottery Painting / Clay Modelling: When you enter the studio you will be greeted by our friendly staff. Once you have settled at your table and chosen items to paint from our wide and constantly changing selection we will talk you through how to use the glazes and answer any questions about your design and the many techniques available to you in the studio. The studio is set up to be suitable for both children and adults. We aim to provide a relaxed, and fun environment for all ages and abilities. We love painting pottery and sharing this entertaining and therapeutic past time with our customers.
Prints & Imprints: Our prints and imprints are a specialist service provided by fully trained and qualified staff. For this reason, we may need to amend your bookings to ensure that we have the best staff on hand for your requirements. We can take prints of any age from 0 to 100! We can also print animals, mainly dogs but we have previously printed cats and rabbits too.
Late Night Fridays: Where creativity meets fun! Our late Night Fridays are aimed at our grown up visitors to come together and kick back with a spot of Pottery Painting or clay modelling. It is BYOB and we provide a variety of glasses for you to use. For an £8 studio fee we offer an extended 3 hour studio session allowing plenty of time to relax, chat away or focus on a larger project.
Pottery Painting Hamper: You can now take The Little Arts Workshop experience home with you! Our pottery painting hampers and kits have been designed to give you the premium workshop experience in the comfort of your own home. The hamper contains everything you need for four to six people to create some amazing painting results. We hire the these out for two days at a time, should you wish to keep the hamper for longer then please get in touch.

Birthday Party Details

We love hosting your children’s birthday parties here at The Little Arts Workshop! Our parties offer exclusive use of the studio for a 2 hour timeslot (usually at 3pm but sometimes at 10am) for between 8 and 20 people. We either offer a two activity workshop or clay modelling with a break for food halfway through. You may choose our party food add on or provide your own, we always offer use of our reusable tableware and unlimited squash. Our parties are recommended from aged 5 upwards.

CLAY MODELLING WORKSHOP: Make and paint your clay make in one session. Turn your lump of clay into a decorative wraparound pot, an animal-mug, name plaque or ceramic wreath. Paint your clay creations with our glazes.
TWO ACTIVITIES WORKSHOP: Pottery Painting (any item up to £12.50) and another activity. Choose from: slime making, t-shirt decorating, macramé feathers, block print tote bags, or fused glass (£2.50 surcharge).
