The Boulder Bunker is Torquay’s first and only dedicated bouldering gym, featuring two main spaces, including a bright and spacious main hall dominated by a large bouldering wall. Located conveniently near Torre Abbey Sands and Torquay Town Centre, and well-connected by public transport, The Bunker is your accessible gateway to indoor adventure. The facility includes 10.5 meters of traversing wall, an impressive systems board, and a campus board with small, medium, and large rungs to challenge climbers of all levels.

Digital Gaming: The Bunker’s Digital Gaming Room in Torquay offers an exciting, supervised space for gamers aged 7 to 17. With a wide selection of retro and modern consoles, this custom-built environment provides a safe and fun way for young people to connect, play, and enjoy a premium gaming experience. Sessions are limited to 10 players to ensure quality gameplay without interruptions.
External Instructors: Qualified external instructors who wish to bring their own groups to our bouldering facility. To ensure safety and maintain high standards of instruction, all external instructors must present valid documentation before or upon arrival. This includes a recognised climbing qualification such as SPA or CWA, a current First Aid certificate, and proof of active insurance. If you’re an instructor planning to use our venue, please get in touch ahead of time with your documentation and group details.
