Ride two unique railways: Choose from our powerful ground-level trains or the enchanting elevated railway.
Picnic and play: A large, grassy field inside the elevated railway is perfect for a family picnic.
Enjoy our cozy clubhouse: Relax with a drink in our club rooms with its wall mounted railway memorabilia .
Experience the history: See passion in motion as we operate and maintain these incredible model locomotives.

Facilities

Parking: We have no parking for our visitors on site. We request that visitors park considerately of other local residents, and do not use private car parks (without permission) or block residents driveway.
Food & Drinks: We are lucky to be supported by 2 fantastic vendors providing Food, Drinks, Cakes and Ice Creams.
Toilets: Our Toilet Block (newly opened in 2025) is situated opposite the Willowbank Station Arrivals Platform. We have Ladies & Gents toilets, both with Baby-Change Facilities, and an Accessible toilet, for those with specific needs - please contact a member of the Willowbank Station Staff for Assistance with the toilets.
Dogs: Dogs are welcome on a lead with their owners, but they can't ride on the trains. Owners must clean up after their dog.

Parties

The Railway will not be doing managed parties, but the field is available for you to use.
The Middle Field is a delightful space in which to relax and enjoy a picnic or play some games whilst the train pass by.
If you want to have a larger family and friends gathering, feel free to bring a gazebo etc. There are picnic benches in the field.
For those unable to access the Middle Field, we can reserve a table near the Level Crossing, and that will give full view of the Ground Level Track.

Our Open Days run from Easter through to October. We are only open to the public on the First Sunday of the month, and on Bank Holiday Sunday/Mondays. All our Open Days are on the Event Calendar
We normally run trains from 1pm to 4pm, with the site open from 12:45pm. However, Special Events may have different times, so please check our Event Page for the correct timings.
