The Outdoor + Active Centre at Upper Tamar offers sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, rowing boats and rafting for individuals, families and groups. Visitors can benefit from tuition from our qualified instructors, hire equipment or launch their own craft.Sessions are 1 hour, 2 hour, 1/2 day or full day depending on activity.
Camping
Adjacent to the Centre is a campsite which caters for holidaymakers and watersports participants alike. The peaceful campsite is an ideal base for exploring North Cornwall and Devon and is perfect for families, groups and couples. Camping Pods are also available on site.
Fishing
This quiet lake is also a popular Coarse Fishery. Species include Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Eels. The lake record is a 46lb Mirror Carp caught in 2007. 100lb plus bags of Bream and 30lb Rudd and Roach are also common. Regular 48 hour Carp competitions are held with limited space available.
