The Sustainability Centre in Hampshire is a learning and study centre set in 55 acres of woodland and chalk downland. As an award-winning social enterprise charity, it focuses on education, inspiration, and practical solutions for sustainable living. Surrounded by the South Downs National Park, it offers a peaceful and natural retreat for visitors.

Families and groups can enjoy a stay at the campsite, which has six pitches and three camping bays, perfect for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers. Visitors can also explore the woodland setting, take part in educational workshops, and learn more about sustainable living practices. A café and visitor facilities make it welcoming and family-friendly.

Camping prices are £15.00 per adult per night, £7.50 for children under 18, free for infants under 3, and £2.00 per dog.

  • The Sustainability Centre could not enjoy a more idyllic setting. Our aims to educate, enable and inspire people from all walks of life to make positive changes to the way they live and work. The Centre is spread across 55 acres of woodland and natural chalk downland.
  • Indeed, the sheer beauty of our surroundings is an enduring reminder of the importance of our work and goals. We practise and promote sustainability as a process of making decisions which balance economic, social and environmental factors for positive benefit. 
  • ​Our small campsite is in a peaceful open space surrounded by our beautiful woodlands. It makes an ideal base for a holiday or overnight stay for individuals, families, cyclists, walkers and groups. We encourage guests to enjoy nature and the natural environment, and we hope you will find it peaceful and relaxing. ​
  • Our campsite comprises of 6 camping pitches on the main camp site and 3 camping bays for up to 4 people on each. All of our courses and workshops focus on green living, rural skills and bushcraft, and take place in our beautiful 55 acre learning centre in the Hampshire South Downs, near Petersfield.
  • For our adult courses we are proud to host a range of excellent tutors, including renowned permaculture teachers: Aranya and Caroline Aitken; Forest School pioneer, Jon Cree; bushcraft and nature connection leaders: Jonathon Huet and Nick Ward; herb and foraging experts and a host of highly skilled craft teachers.

  • ​From the A3 take the turn off sign-posted to Clanfield and the brown tourist signs for the Sustainability Centre.
  • Turn right at the Rising Sun Pub on to the East Meon Road.
  • Follow this road for 1.6 miles to the top of the hill.
  • Turn left at the sign post to Droxford. 
  • We are approximately 1 mile along on the left hand side

  • ​Take the Winchester turn off at Junction 9.
  • Follow the signs for A272 until it meets with the A32.
  • Turn right onto the A32 towards West Meon and Droxford.
  • After West Meon continue for a mile.
  • At Warnford turn left opposite the George and Falcon Pub. 
  • Sign posted to Clanfield.
  • Follow this road for 4 miles.
  • We are on the right hand side.

  • Take the A32 northbound from Fareham.
  • At Warnford turn right opposite the George and Falcon Pub. 
  • Sign posted to Clanfield.
  • Follow this road for 4 miles.
