The Strand Lido and Leisure Park in Gillingham is a historic riverside destination, first opened in 1896. It’s home to the UK’s only remaining tidal saltwater pool, making it a unique place for families and visitors to enjoy. The venue includes a summer season outdoor lido, a splash pad, four refurbished tennis courts, children’s play areas, and a miniature railway. Visitors can also enjoy the outdoor gym, parkour training, riverside walks, and picnic areas, with a café serving hot and cold food and treats. Free weekly sessions such as family tennis, kayaking, and cardio tennis are also offered to the community.

Pool admission is £7.80 for adults, £5.15 for juniors and seniors, and free for under 3s. Additional activity prices vary.
