Welcome to Stonebridge City Farm & Gardens Free to Visit Donations Welcome. Stonebridge City Farm is a peaceful countryside escape in the heart of Nottingham City Centre. This working farm and charity features a café, shop, play area, woodland, gardens, and nature trails. Entry is free, with suggested donations of £5 per adult and £3 per child. Visitors can meet a variety of friendly animals, including cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and lambs. The aviary is home to a colourful mix of birds, while ducks, geese, and chickens can be seen roaming freely around the grounds.

The Bunny Village and barn areas are great spots to see rabbits, guinea pigs, and young chicks.   • ANIMALS:
    • COWS: Star & Solar love greeting visitors. Calves are expected to arrive on the farm at the end of August.
    • LAMBS: Three new Ryeland lambs have recently joined the farm family. They’re friendly and always ready to meet visitors.
    • SHEEP: A range of sheep can be seen across the farm. Visitors can try spotting them all, including the lively lambs.
    • GOATS: Goats are playful and enjoy interacting with visitors. Be cautious — they can stretch further than expected!
    • PIGS: Three pigs live on the farm: Penelope, Pumpkin, and Peanut. Pumpkin and Peanut are sisters, while Penelope is a year older.
    • AVIARY: The aviary near the paddocks houses a variety of bird species. Visitors can have fun seeing how many they can identify.
    • CHICKENS AND GEESE: Geese, ducks, and chickens wander freely and are often heard before they’re seen. Chicks and ducklings, when present, can be found in the barn.
    • BUNNY VILLAGE: Two continental giants, Elsa and Luna, share the Bunny Village with Barney, a mini lop. They can often be spotted hopping around their paddock, enjoying the grass and flowers.
    • THE BARN: The barn is home to rabbits and guinea pigs, except on warm days when they enjoy time outdoors. Chicks and ducklings, if available, can also be found here. The barn opens to visitors at 12pm and serves as the animals’ night shelter.
    • A boarding service for rabbits and guinea pigs is available.
    • KEVIN'S KINGDOM: Kevin lives in a climate-controlled habitat designed for his comfort. On warm days, he can often be seen relaxing in his outdoor garden.
  • GARDENS: The gardens are award-winning and full of color throughout the year. Beds and planters are filled with flowers, vegetables, fruits, and crops. Several polytunnels, sheds, and greenhouses keep the gardens thriving. Vegetable patches are mixed with wild plants and shrubs to support bees and other pollinators. Gardeners are always happy to share advice or tips for anyone interested in home gardening.

  • Birthday Parties: Celebrate a special day with a fun and memorable farm experience. Enjoy time with friends and family surrounded by animals, gardens, and nature.
    • Prices & Times: The party room is available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. Room Hire: £60 for half a day
    • Choose one of the following time slots: Morning: 9:45am – 12:15pm & Afternoon: 12:45pm – 3:15pm
    • Booking: Payment for room hire is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
    • Optional Add-On: Animal food bags can be included for an additional £1 per child.
    • Catering: Catering is available for an additional £4 per child. Each child receives a lunch pack containing: A sandwich (jam, ham, or cheese), A drink, Yoghurt, Crisps & A cheese portion
    • Additional Information
      • Decorations and birthday cake are not provided, so please bring your own.
      • The party room must be left tidy and ready for the next booking.

  • By Bus: The number 24, 25, 26 and 27 all go past the farm, just get off at the St Chad's Road stop or Handel Street (depending on which direction you're  coming from) and we're less than 5 minutes away.  You can also catch the 39 and get off at Roden Street and were about 2 minutes away.   • By Car: If you enter address into google maps it will take you right here. Have a car park, however spaces are limited so recommend travelling by public transport or car share when possible. 
  • By Tram: If you are getting the tram into town get off at Lace Market tram stop and then we're just a 15 minute walk from there.
