A range of strawberry varieties, including Florence, Elegance, and Malwina, are hand-tended and bedded in straw. Fresh asparagus travels less than five miles from Helperby to Sessay, offering unbeatable freshness.

In summer, acres of native wildflowers and sunflowers create a vibrant display, with bunches available for hand-picking during July and August. A dinosaur-themed Maize Maze adds even more fun to the season.
    • Farm-Reared Meat: The farm is known for its famous Spilman Beef Sandwich and Lamb & Mint Sausages, available in the café and farm shop. Cattle graze freely from May to October on the fertile flood plains of the River Swale and are fed home-grown barley and straw during winter. Native breeds such as Aberdeen Angus and Hereford are used to ensure high-quality flavour.
    • Arable & Fodder Crops: Under the supervision of Joss, the farm also grows barley, wheat, oats, oil seed rape, and fodder beet. Crop rotation is carefully managed according to soil type, ensuring sustainability and high-quality yields. Fodder beet feeds livestock on-site and is also supplied to dairy farms across Northern England to help maintain energy-rich diets for healthy milk production.
