Speedwell Cavern - Underground Journey by Boat: An 18th-century lead mine, offering a unique boat tour deep underground.
- The Entrance: Descend 106 steps down a 45° slope, with sturdy handrails & Reach the jetty where you board a boat (up to 21 passengers).
- The Journey:
  - Travel through a 250-year-old lead mine tunnel.
  - Your guide shares the fascinating history of the mine as you progress.
  - At the Halfway House, the canal tunnel splits, allowing boats to pass.
  - Continue 200 meters below the surface and enter a cathedral-like cavern.
  - Experience the awe-inspiring Bottomless Pit—a vast subterranean lake.
