Ocean Adventurers Indoor Playground in Cheddar is a multi-award-winning play centre that brings imagination and adventure to life for children up to 12 years old. Spanning 14,000 sq ft, it’s an immersive, ocean-themed venue where kids can play, learn, and explore in a safe, engaging environment.

The centre features three dedicated play zones - a baby sensory area (0–2 years) with bubble tubes, infinity tunnels, and light walls; a toddler zone (2–4 years) with slides, ball pits, and submarines; and a junior play structure (5–12 years) featuring tunnels, zip wires, slides, ball cannons, and the world’s first interactive Strike Arena with 30 light-up pods. Children can also explore the Role Play Village, with mini shops, a café, salon, vet, and puppet theatre, all designed to spark creativity.

Prices include weekday entry (£9.95 for children, £3.45 for adults, £3.50 for under-1s) and weekend/holiday entry (£12.95 for juniors, £11.95 for toddlers, £4.45 for adults). Annual passes are available from £150–£165. Birthday packages include Pure Play Parties (£14.95 per child), Ultimate Themed Celebrations (£22.95 per child), and Exclusive Venue Hire (£395 for up to 50 children), each with drinks, invitations, and optional food add-ons. Ocean Adventurers offers a depth of play and discovery which children will love diving into and exploring! With different environments that cater for all ages:

Aged 0 – 2: Our baby sensory area is ocean fantastic! From infinity tunnels, fishtank portholes, bubble tubes, whale slides, ball pits, sound walls, mirrors, sensory lights and so much more! Suitable for 0-2 years old this sensory area has been designed to stimulate baby’s touch, sight, hearing and overall learning and can be introduced from birth.
Aged 2 – 4: Our toddler soft play area lets your little ocean divers explore as they go, with tunnels and tubes like that of a submarine they’ll have so much to discover. There’s treasure chests, ball pits, slides, tunnels, submarines, interactive learning screens, portholes and so much more and all with secure entrances and exits to keep your little ones safe and secure whilst keeping the older children in their own areas.
Aged 5 – 12: Our junior soft play offers tunnels and rigging the kind all ocean adventurers love! We have a 4 lane astro slide, a lighthouse tunnel slide, ball pits, ball canons, zip wires, an aquarium tunnel, interactive sounds and so much more. We even became the first in the world to install an interactive strike arena around our junior structure featuring 30 light up pods, can you find your colour pods within 300 seconds and get on our leaderboard?!
Role Play: Our role play village is a firm favourite for adults and children alike! Featuring a doctors surgery, vets, hair and beauty salon, cafe, supermarket, ice cream parlour, nursery, building site and a puppet theatre! There’s even dress up stations where your child can fully look the part and dress up as pirates, police people, fire people, vets, doctors and so much more!

Let’s bring your ideas to life to create those magical and personal memories. For our Ultimate themed and Exclusive hire parties we take your ideas and theme the party room according to what comes out of discussions with you. That means we have potentially unlimited options for theming the party to your child(ren)'s taste.

1 Hour - Laser Tag Only - Child (1-12): Only £14.95 per person. Available Monday to Friday from 4-5pm during term time, this 1 hour Private Hire Laser Tag Session is perfect for small uniform groups, such as Cubs, Scouts and Beavers. This session includes entry to the laser tag session, access to the main play structure with Freedom Gaming activity, and unlimited soda refills for the children. Group sizes from 10-20 children.
Pure Play Party: Only £14.95 per person. Are you looking for a children’s party with flexibility and good value for money? Our pure play parties are the perfect choice. You pay for entry with one free adult per child. One complimentary adult per child. Party Invitations (Available on request). Entry for 2 hours to the indoor play and full use of the facilities. A reserved table for the party children. Unlimited Soft drinks for the children from our soda station. You can order food and other drinks to your table (not included in the package).
Ultimate Themed Celebration: Only £22.95 per person. Are you looking for a children’s party with the ultimate personal touch? Ocean Adventurers Exclusive Hire Party: Only £395.00 Per party. For those who would like to design their own party experience, or invite the whole class, we offer a private hire option. Suitable for up to 50 children with accompanying adults. Exclusive hire of the whole Ocean Adventurers venue for up to 50 children plus accompanying adults. Full use of the soft play areas. A dedicated party co-ordinator and host on the day. Party invitations (available on request). Bring your own food and drink (we can supply sandwich bags or Pizza buffet and drinks on request, charged per head). Bring your own party bags (or we can provide them for you for $2.50 per child). Our café will be open, serving drinks and snacks from our menu.
