  • Nottingham Station is served by East Midlands Railway, Cross Country Trains, and Northern Rail. The Castle is a 10-minute walk from the station.

  • Note: There is a slight incline on the walk to the Castle.

By Car

  • On-Site Parking: Unfortunately, Nottingham Castle does not offer on-site parking, Blue Badge Parking:
  • Broadmarsh, Lace Market, and Trinity Square car parks are all less than 13 minutes from the Castle and are located in the heart of the city centre.
  • Parking is just £5 if you arrive before 9:30 AM and exit before 6:30 PM (Monday to Friday).

Park and Ride

  • Free Parking: There are several Park and Ride sites located at junctions 24, 25, and 26 on the M1.
  • Travel time: About 30 minutes to reach the city centre.
  • Tram: Exit at Old Market Square and walk 5 minutes to Nottingham Castle.
  • You can also use the Racecourse Park & Ride or Queens Drive for access via Red 44 or Navy 49 buses into the city centre.
