Midlothian Snowsports Centre is set in the Pentland Hills Regional Park and is home to Britain’s biggest artificial slope. Alpine Coaster: Enjoy the ride of your life on Midlothian Snowsports Centre's Alpine Coaster! It's the first in Scotland. The coaster is interactive, riders can slow down their cart. The coaster ride includes a 360 degree helix.
Tubing: Tubes are inflatable doughnuts with smooth bases to let them slide downhill. For an exhilarating slide down the hill and fun for all the family, try tubing. Sessions will run for 45 minutes per session.
Fun Slope: The new fun slope is part of Destination Hillend, a project to develop the centre into a multi-activity leisure facility. The 130 metre fun slope was designed by snowsports firm Briton Engineering and includes three different types of pitches, jumps and other features to appeal to everyone from beginners to elite athletes.
