Part of a global initiative led by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are two other Japan Houses in Los Angeles and São Paulo. Located on London’s Kensington High Street, the experience is an authentic encounter with Japan, engaging and surprising even the most knowledgeable guests.

In Japan House London: Experience three floors of discovery, located among some of London’s greatest cultural venues. Presenting the very best of Japanese art, design, gastronomy, innovation and technology, Japan House London provides an authentic encounter with Japan. The iconic Art Deco lines of the building’s exterior give way to a Katayama Masamichi’s simple and elegant interior design, based on the concept of the tokunoma – the raised alcove in a Japanese room in which decorative art or seasonal flowers are displayed for guests to admire.
