Adult Masterclasses: Our adult masterclasses are usually held twice a month. You don’t need to be an expert to join these classes, they are designed to be fun and follow an informal paint-along format where you learn to create a specific design onto a particular piece of pottery.
Baby Prints: Capture that special moment in time by creating painted ceramics. Printed hand and foot prints can be made on a great selection of bisque. You can either choose to decorate as many items yourself for the cost of a studio fee. Alternatively you can commission Happy Glaze to write a message, name or decorate the items for you for £6 per item.
Holiday workshops: Throughout the year, we hold workshops for kids. The minimum age is 8 years old and are drop off sessions, so you don’t need to stay with the child. Each workshop is a guided, step-by-step session on how to create something beautiful.
Paint at Home: If you’d prefer to paint your ceramics at home, and not in the studio, we have a great solution for you! This is a great idea for date nights and larger ‘project’ items where you’d rather have more time to create your masterpiece.

Facilities

Parking: There is 20 minute restricted parking on Waterloo Road, but Epsom has lots of car parks. Our nearest is the Ebbisham Centre, the Station car park and there’s also one in Hook Road.

Birthday Party Details

We’d be delighted to host a birthday gathering here at our studio. Please note that our biggest table seats 10 ( which includes a supervising adult) and ask that the birthday child is turning 9 years or over. You will need to pay a deposit of £6 per painter which covers the studio fees for the painters booked. All you will pay for on the day are the items painted. Please note that we cannot allow any food including sandwiches, cake or cupcakes to be brought into the studio. We do sell a selection of snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring an individually bottled or carton drink, or packet of snacks per person, i.e., iced gems etc.

We charge a £6 studio fee per painter, and our bisque range between £12 – £20 is very popular for birthday gatherings. Our studio staff are on hand to help the guests choose their pieces within the price range specified. If you’d like to invite more than 9 painters, you’ll need to book the studio exclusively. You’re then able to invite up to 25 painters and your group must include a minimum of 2 supervising adults. The minimum age of turning 9 still applies.
