Features

  • Full Day One to one Wheel course: Rachel has been teaching the wheel for 30 years and is an advanced potter. The wheel is a real passion but one of the most difficult techniques to learn proficiently. This training is ONE to ONE, not in a group class. You will receive personalised individual teaching to give you the skills you require to become efficient on the wheel. Ideal for someone who is wanting to start their own pottery production. Occasionally this procedure may benefit a couple (business partners, etc) so rather than have separate teaching, we can combine the day to include both people. This however incurs another separate charge, so two people for one to one training will be £600 (£300 each)
  • Paint Your Own Pottery: Come along and have some fun being creative. Painting pottery is a great way to spend some time with friends and family and a great way to make gift at the same time. We have lots of handmade and hand thrown stoneware why not try your hand at glaze combinations and your pot will then be able to go into your domestic oven to cook with once it has been fired in our kiln twice to 1260 degrees.
  • Baby Hand & Foot Prints: There is nothing quite so special as having a little one come into your lives. Why not capture that little impression forever on china or in clay. We have lots of shapes to choose from to put your little one's hands on, from as little as 14 days old to adults. Choose from Mugs, Plates, Bowls, Christmas Baubles and more.
