Farmers Den: The Farmers Den is the name of our soft play activity centre in Annan & Dumfries. In our soft play area, children are free to be as energetic and active as they wish. It is a safe but energetic environment where your children can develop physical and social skills, co-ordination and balance and at the same time their imaginations run wild.
Animal Feeding: You can feed the animals with animal feed bought from the shop anytime during your visit. This is a great way to get to know your favourities!
Animal Paddocks: In the fields you can see our larger animals Shetland Ponies, Belted Galloways, Welsh Cob Horses, Llamas, Alpaca, as well as Kune Kune Pigs, Vietnamese Pot Bellied Pigs, Goats, Donkeys.
Animal Barn: Inside you can visit our calves, pot bellied pigs and other mother animals and their offspring.
Straw Barn: Have fun messing about in the covered barn area with rope swings and straw bales! Whether you are young or old, you will enjoy your day at Mabie Farm Park, rain or shine! Truly original farm fun for the entire family.
Play Barn: Hours of physical activity for all ages! Our Play Barn is ideal for play during any type of weather! Under cover in the Play Barn we have many activities for all ages: Climbing Wall, Climbing Frame and Nets, Ride on Tractors, Sitting area with picnic facilities.
Pets Corner: Every afternoon, under the supervision of Mabie Farm Park staff, children have the opportunity to handle and feed some of our smaller furry friends. You can handle and feed our: Rabbits, Mice and Guinea Pigs. Not just for the kids, adults can have a go too!
Astroslide: Zip down the hill on our 4 lane Astroslide that is hours of fun for both adults and children. (May be closed during wet conditions.)
Boating Pond: Take a leisurely paddle around our boating pond in one of our 2 or 4 seater paddle boats.
The Pond: Enjoy wildlife in a natural setting. This area is set aside for wildlife, and gives visitors a chance to relax and watch our wildlife visitors. Groups can go pond dipping under supervision.
Bouncy Castle and Jumping Pillow: Physical activity that is fun! We have a variety of bouncy castles to suit all ages, and a special Jumping Pillow that is safer than trampolines and more social as several people can jump together!
Grass Slides: Enjoy the wind in your hair! We have 2 Astroturf sledging tracks, the shorter one is for the use of our younger visitors.
Henry’s Fort: Climb, play and explore! Henry’s fort has two wooden towers for climbing, a slide and bridge where you can see the whole park.
Pedal Go Karts: Make tracks with our popular pedal go karts. Ages 4 +
Play Park: Lots of your favourite play equipment including swings, sandpit, aerial runway, toddlers play area and Little Wendy Houses.
The Mabie Farm ‘Choo Choo Express’: See the park! A fun way to see the park for our smaller guests. A train for small children runs past the boating pond and through big water puddles!
Trampolines: Our trampolines are suitable for adults and children alike! Please only one person at a time!

We are 3.5 miles South West of Dumfries. From Dumfries follow the “Solway Coast” road (A710), taking you towards New Abbey. Pass through the village of Islesteps. Follow the road for another 1.5 miles and you will see the brown Tourist Board sign indicating a right turn to the Farm Park.
