There are spaces available for Blue Badge holders. The car park gets very busy at weekends and in the school holidays; travel by public transport where possible.
Food And Drink: Enjoy a tasty lunch or quick afternoon treat in the café in the visitor centre at Eltham Palace. With views out to the outdoor play area, you can relax over a refreshing drink and a delicious snack while the children let off steam.
Dogs: No dogs allowed, although assistance dogs welcome.

With interactive activities scheduled throughout the day, there’s plenty to keep your little ghouls entertained.
Members' Event: Travelling with the Courtaulds: Date: Thu 6 Nov. Time: 10.30am - 12pm. Location: Eltham Palace and Gardens. Join Historian Andrew Hann and Curator of Collections Sabrina Villani for a whistle stop tour around the world with the fabulously wealthy Courtaulds. Discover the places they visited on their holidays in the 1920s and '30s, the different modes of transport they used and the people the met along the way, all meticulously recorded within the pages of their illustrated travel logs.

Train Access: Mottingham station is 1⁄2 mile (about 10 minutes’ walk) from Eltham Palace. Walk east from the station towards Court Road/A208; turn left onto Court Road/A208 for 0.3miles; then turn left into the entrance road to Eltham Palace and Gardens visitor centre.
Bicycle Access: Plan your cycling route to Eltham Palace and Gardens at sustrans.org.uk, the National Cycle Network. There are bike racks available at this site.
Other Access: The Capital Ring and Green Chain Walk both pass close to Eltham Palace.
