Cotswold Falconry Centre is a popular and educational wildlife centre in the UK, dedicated to birds of prey and their conservation. Home to over 60 species and 130 individual birds, it offers visitors of all ages a chance to see falcons, owls, eagles, and vultures up close. The centre is open daily from 10:30am with three amazing flying displays throughout the day.

  • Cotswold Archery: Cotswold Archery has a dedicated archery range, located at Batsford Arboretum and Garden centre. A range for all ages (Over 8 years old) and abilities to enjoy this ancient and rewarding Olympic sport, under the guidance of a fully qualified archery coach and experienced archers.
  • Batsford Arboretum: At 56 acres, Batsford Arboretum is home to one of the country’s largest private tree collections. Enjoy early colour from snowdrops, spring-flowering bulbs and Japanese flowering cherries; escape summer’s heat under the magnificent tree canopy and prepare to be amazed by the outstanding autumn colour!
  • Batsford Garden Centre: The Garden Centre at Batsford offers visitors a huge range of quality plants at affordable prices. You’ll find ornamental and fruit trees, conifers, acers, roses, shrubs, herbaceous and bedding plants, plus a full range of gardening tools and sundries to keep your garden in tip top condition.
  • Flying Displays: Cotswold Falconry try the best to show you how our incredible Birds of Prey would hunt and fly naturally in the wild. 3 entirely different, daily flying demonstrations take place at 11:30, 1:30 and 3:00. 
  • The Aviaries: Between the displays you can take a leisurely wander around our breeding aviaries, some of which may be successfully breeding in front of you. Cotswold Falconry Centre is also home to some birds that are Critically Endangered in the wild and will give you an insight into their secret lives and their plight in the wild.

  • By Bus: Cheltenham / Moreton in Marsh service 801 run by Pulham and sons. Stratford upon Avon / Moreton in Marsh services 1 & 2 run by Johnsons. This route has a Batsford Arboretum stop at the (wrong) end of the mile drive towards the Centre. 
  • By Car: Postcode is GL56 9AT. Please look out for the brown tourist road signs for Falconry Centre / Batsford Arboretum or Batsford Arboretum / Garden Centre. Once up the long drive you will find lots of free car parking space with designated areas for disabled parking.
  • By Train: Moreton in Marsh is well served by First Great Western on the Paddington to Worcester & Hereford via Oxford route. If wishing to do the final part of the journey by taxi it is strongly recommended to book in advance to be picked up from the station.
  • By foot or bike: The best route from Moreton in Marsh is to follow the Monarch’s Way, it will take 30-40 minutes to walk the 1 3/4 miles.
