Facilities

  • Parking: Lower car park 50 yards, upper car park 250 yards. Parking charges apply (COINS only). NT Members and Blue Badge holders park free. Charge for a car is £3.50 for up to 3 hours or £7 daily.
  • Dogs allowed: Dogs welcome in the main garden, but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the walled garden.

Top trails: 

  • Colby Woodland Garden walk: Explore secret spaces and historical features on this lovely family walk, with plenty of wildlife to discover along the way. Visit the Walled Garden, meadows and follow woodland paths with glimpses of the sea from the highest viewpoint. There are spots for a picnic and the option of a longer trail to Amroth beach and village if you’d like a longer adventure.
  • Lydstep cliffs and caverns walk: A great clifftop walk for sea views and wildlife watching. The grassland is rich in wildflowers and butterflies, while the cliffs are home to choughs, fulmars and gulls. On clear days you can see Lundy Island and the Somerset coast, and you might be lucky enough to spot dolphins or porpoises offshore.
  • Stackpole Estate wildlife walk: Take in some of the finest wildlife habitats in Pembrokeshire on this coastal wildlife walk. Discover limestone cliffs with breeding seabirds including guillemots, as well as beaches, dunes and freshwater lakes with lilies and the chance to spot otters.
