Grab the bikes and helmets and go on an adventure. There are plenty of cycle route choices on site from a 5km (3 mile) cycle route perfect for little legs (and big ones too) to completing a full 12km (8 mile) circuit of the reservoir for those who want a bit more of a challenge

Carsington Water is a popular spot for fishing. The reservoir is mainly home to both brown and rainbow trout. Boats are available to hire and our fishery is open from March until November.

Horses are welcome at Carsington Water where you can ride the beautiful 12Km (8 mile) route around the reservoir. You are welcome to park your horse box in the coach parking bays at the visitor centre car park.

The play area has been updated and now includes accessible play equipment. We have two basket swings, interactive panels and games all around the play area at ground level, and much more new equipment!
