With over 30 well-schooled horses and ponies selected for gentle temperament, lessons are available for riders aged 10 and above, from beginners to those refining their skills. Adult-only group lessons for advanced riders competent in canter are held on Monday evenings. Private and semi-private lessons, including one-to-one, one-to-two, or one-to-three-plus sessions, are available throughout opening hours. Maximum rider weight is 13 stone, and all lessons take place in all weather conditions.

Pricing per person is: 30-minute Private Lesson (1-to-1) £35, 30-minute Semi-Private (1-to-2) £25, 30-minute Semi-Private (1-to-3+) £22, 1-hour Semi-Private (1-to-3+) £40, and Adult-Only Group Lessons (1 hour, advanced riders) £32. Once a private, group lesson, or school holiday activity has been booked and paid for, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or transferred.

  • By Road (from M60): Situated just off Junction 8 of the M60. Once off the motorway, follow the A6144 until you come to the second crossroads, take the left (CRC is signposted at this junction) and follow this down until you come to a left turn at the end. A barrier prevents you from travelling further down Isherwood Rd after this turn (so you have to turn left).
  • Public Transport: Farm is accessible by bus. Buses: 241, 243 and 255 run to the nearest bus stop. It is then a 15-20 minute walk down Isherwood Rd to the farm.
