  • For over 40 years Bankside Gallery has played a crucial role in displaying and promoting work on paper; exploring its boundaries while supporting education activities organised by the RWS and RE.
  • Opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1980, Bankside Gallery is a registered educational charity, number 293194 and receives no government funding.

Venue Hire on London’s South Bank: Situated on the Thames Path, directly in between the Tate Modern and Blackfriars station, Bankside Gallery attracts over 55,000 visitors a year. The Gallery is cool and spacious, and the perfect space for a wide range of solo and group shows, drinks receptions, networking events and more.
Exhibition Hire 
If your main focus is showing artwork, we offer dedicated gallery hire in London for solo and group exhibitions. Our central exhibition space hire in London provides a professional setting for artists, collectives and organisations.
Evening event hire: The standard hire charge is £325 + VAT per hour.
If you are planning a reception, drinks or networking event, our gallery is also available for evening venue hire in London. Host guests in a contemporary riverside setting after hours, with exhibitions providing a distinctive backdrop.

Getting to Bankside Gallery: The Gallery is situated on the Thames Path, directly in between Tate Modern and Blackfriars station. Just pop down the steps in front of the Founders Arms pub.
