SKI OR SNOWBOARD(12+):The place offers a brilliant range of group courses at Alpine Snowsports, Southampton. All of the courses provide you with the basics of skiing or snowboarding, the confidence you need on the slopes and are a great way to dip your toe into this incredible sport. No previous experience is needed.
DISCOVERY SESSIONS(8 Years +): Discovery Sessions are all about providing a safe environment with likeminded people, who have never put a pair of skis or a snowboard on before.This really is your introduction to the sport. In 60 minutes you will learn some basic techniques and gain confidence on the slope but most importantly, you’ll have fun. The brilliant instructors will be on hand to teach & guide you through your session and hopefully be the introduction to a sport you’ll enjoy for a lifetime.
PRIVATE LESSONS(4 Years+): Learning a new skill can be hard & quite often, daunting. But not at Alpine Snowports, Southampton. Their Private Lessons are a brilliant way to gain your confidence on the slope, learn a new skill or just brush up on your previous experience. With group or private sessions on offer, the venue has something for everyone.
PAY & PLAY: Whether it’s skiing or snowboarding, everyone is welcome to practise on slopes. These 1 hour practise sessions are a great way to build your confidence on the slope and get in those vital hours to develop your skills. Choose between practising on our middle slope or top slope, depending on your confidence level. Recreational practise is available to anyone who meets the required criteria.
SKI & TEA: Ski & Tea sessions are a brilliant way to practise on slopes, when they’re a little quieter. Happening once a week, the Ski & Tea sessions also include light refreshments for afterwards.This is perfect for those who meet the criteria to practise but want to work on their confidence. The quieter slopes mean you have more time to perfect your skills without more skilled skiers racing past.
JUNIOR ACTIVITIES: Junior Activities are delivered by brilliant instructors after school and act as a great way to combine child care with exercise. The beginner course acts as more of a lesson based activity. Teaching children how to ski or snowboard and raising their confidence levels. The after school club acts as more of a fun session combining learning with fun activities.This is also for those who have a little more confidence and can ski from the top slope.
JUNIOR BEGINNER COURSE: This is a great way to learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding with the aim of getting you to our practice standard by the end of the course.This is a 3 week course with each session running for 2 hours over 3 consecutive Thursdays. The minimum age for this course is 8 years.
JUNIOR AFTER SCHOOL CLUB: After School Club runs every Friday between 5pm – 7pm for skiers and snowboarders who are able to ski from the top of the main slope. This is a fun & engaging session designed for improving current skills for those children who are already at practise standard. The instructors will be on the slope to coach & give tips on how to improve skills.This activity is for children between the age of 4 – 16.
PENGUIN SESSIONS: Penguin Sessions are for younger children to attend a structed course, to slowly progress their skills and confidence on the slope. Running for 4 weeks, everything will be covered starting with the basics. There are 4 levels in this session.
SKI CAMPS: Ski camps are a great way to keep children entertained during the holidays. They’ll learn the basics of skiing, develop their skills and grow their confidence. There are a range of different camps
