All Hallows is an inclusive Christian community serving those who live and work in the City of London and nearby Tower Hamlets, and the many people who visit from all around the world. We are the oldest parish church in the City, founded in 675AD. 

Come and discover over 1,000 years of history, from the remains of Roman London found in our crypt, the Saxon and Norman elements of the church, and stories from the Great Fire of London and the post-war years. Details of our regular services can be found on our website.

  • Guided Tours: Our guides available in the church most weekdays from 10.30am-1.30pm and 2-4pm. They are able to answer your questions and take you on a short highlight tour of the church, leading you on a fascinating journey from our Saxon origins right up to the current day.
  • The Crypt Museum: The museum leads you on a fascinating journey through time, charting the history of the church, its people and the City of London.
  • Memorials: There are many memorials around the church commemorating a diverse range of people and events over the centuries. As well as the TocH lamp, situated in the Croke tomb in the Lady Chapel, we have a collection of votive ships, medieval brasses, statues, a ship's bell and a wide variety of plaques and pew ends.
  • Panoramic view of All Hallows: To see a panoramic image of the church interior, please click on the link below and use the on screen controls to move around a 360 degree view of the nave. 
  • 1300 years of faith on Tower Hill: All Hallows by the Tower is the oldest church in the City of London and was founded by the Abbey of Barking in 675AD, 300 years before the Tower of London. An arch from the Saxon church can still be seen today.
